A request is not an order yet. The print is only accepted after the model, material, quantity, price, and expected turnaround are confirmed.

Private upload and reviewed payment

The optional private consumer route is limited to a genuinely made-to-spec printed product. The owner records the exact specification, final VAT-inclusive total, postage, delivery estimate, and payment schedule before acceptance. The first payment is no more than 50% of the final total. The remaining balance is offered only after delivery or at handover. Standard goods, separate services, mixed supplies, and business work remain request-only unless their own consumer flow is implemented and approved. No real payment or production starts while the activation gates remain closed.

If activated, Vercel stores the private model, Upstash stores private order state, and Stripe hosts the staged payment. Abandoned temporary uploads are deleted after 24 hours and order models no later than 90 days, or immediately after a rejected or closed request through the verified deletion sequence.

This local candidate does not accept orders. Public launch remains blocked until a verified business telephone number, availability, complaints/dispute status, and the remaining launch controls are completed.

Model quality

A 3D model may need repair, resizing, support changes, or design changes before printing. If a supplied model is not printable, you will be told what needs to change before work continues.

Functional parts

Functional parts can fail if the material, design, layer direction, heat resistance, or load is wrong. Tell me if the part must handle force, heat, outdoor use, food contact, children, pets, electricity, vehicles, medical use, or safety-critical use.

Print finish

Normal FDM characteristics such as layer lines, minor support marks, and slight color or texture variation may occur. Every part is inspected against the agreed file or specification. These normal characteristics do not waive your legal conformity or guarantee rights. Sanding, fitting, assembly, or post-processing should be agreed before printing.

Returns and cancellation

When the agreed product is not prefabricated and is made to your individual specifications recorded before the order, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply. This exception follows from the nature of the agreed made-to-spec product and does not depend on production having started. As a separate voluntary policy, the binding summary states the clear, verifiable point until which you may cancel free of charge. This does not limit your statutory conformity rights.

Separate engineering/design service

A separate engineering/design service is described and priced separately and is not bundled into the custom-goods exception. To start it during the 14-day withdrawal period, you must make an unticked express request and agree to proportionate payment if you withdraw after work starts. The service withdrawal right ends only after full performance when you expressly consented in advance to starting and acknowledged that consequence. This service route is not enabled in the current private consumer checkout.

Standard goods and other eligible contracts

Standard goods and other eligible distance contracts retain the ordinary 14-day withdrawal right and require the prescribed instructions, model form, and the online withdrawal function that has been mandatory since June 2026. The function must remain easy to find throughout the withdrawal period and issue an immediate durable confirmation. These contracts stay request-only until those surfaces are implemented and tested.

Statutory conformity

Your statutory conformity rights remain fully applicable, including for custom-made goods. If the product does not meet the agreement, we provide an appropriate statutory remedy free of charge, normally repair or replacement/reprint. If that is not possible or is not completed within a reasonable time, statutory price-reduction or termination/refund rights apply where the law provides them.

Custom work

Custom dimensions, names, logos, personal designs, or one-off parts are reviewed and quoted for the specific request. Any model preparation, proof piece, or non-refundable preparatory work must be stated before you confirm.

Consumers and businesses

The two-stage private payment path is for consumers buying a genuinely made-to-spec printed product. Business requests remain a separate quote-first, request-only workflow and do not enter this consumer checkout.

Pickup or delivery

The registered establishment address is disclosed in the verified seller block before an order; it is not presented as a walk-in location. Pickup is by appointment in Maastricht, with the exact handover instructions agreed separately. Shipping is available within the Netherlands only at launch. Postage and packaging are shown separately before acceptance.
